Feedback Bubble guide

How to add a feedback button to your website

Plan, install and test an on-page feedback button that is easy for visitors to find and useful for your product team.

A good feedback button is noticeable when somebody needs it and quiet the rest of the time. The installation is only one part of the job; wording, position and the receiving workflow matter too.

Decide what visitors can send

Use a small number of recognizable choices. Issues, ideas and questions cover most early-stage SaaS needs without asking the visitor to understand your internal workflow.

Choose a consistent position

Bottom-right is familiar, but it can collide with chat, cookie or accessibility controls. Use bottom-left when the right side is already occupied, then test mobile layouts and keyboard access.

Install and test the real journey

Add the generated loader to the deployed site, confirm the approved origin, send feedback from multiple routes and inspect what arrives in the inbox.

  • Desktop and mobile
  • Client-side navigation
  • Long and short messages
  • Success and error states
